The Firebird
In a fantastical world the immortal Katschei keeps Princess Vassalisa eternally imprisoned. Can a magic feather from the Firebird help Prince Ivan defeat Katschei and free his love? A classic Russian folktale full of of trust, heroism, love, monsters, and magic set to the dramatic music of Igor Stravinski.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Joy, romance, laughter and… a fairy falling in love with a donkey? Based on Shakespeare’s best-known comedy, you will be transported into the forest where a quarrel between the King and Queen of the fairies leads to mayhem and mirth for fairies and humans alike.

Featuring guest artists Anthony V. Spaulding II, Jorge Richard Lagunas, and dancers from Grand Canyon University.
The performances take place at Estrella Mountain Community College’s Performing Arts Center, located at 3000 North Dysart Rd in Avondale.

Will Call opens an hour before performance time, and the House opens 30 minutes before the performance.

*EMCC Students must reserve tickets online AND bring Student ID to Will Call. Students without ID will be expected to pay General Admission for entry. Unreserved EMCC Tickets will not be available at the door.
