Summer Classes

Ballet classes are available throughout the summer for dancers ages 3 and up.

Primary (ages 3–5)

Must be 3 years old by June 1st

Cost: $65
Registration Fee: $25 for new students.
Dress Code: Current students should follow their current level dress code. New students should wear a leotard, pink tights, ballet skirt, and pink ballet slippers (females) or white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, and black ballet slippers (males).

Intensives

SWBT’s Intensives are rigorous workshops focusing on Technique and Training.

Junior (Levels 2+): June 1–12

Must be 10 years old by June 1st.

Week 1:   June 1–5
Classes will include: Classical Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe/Pointe, Character, and Injury Prevention.

Week 2:   June 8–12
Classes will include: Classical Ballet Technique, Pre-pointe/Pointe, Strength, Jazz, and Musical Theatre.

Location: EMCC

Mon – Thur     9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Friday               9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Additional Information

Cost: $275 per week (10% discount if registered by April 30th)

Registration Fee: $25 for new students.

Senior (levels 4+): July 13–24

Placement required

Week 1:   July 13–17
Classes will include: Classical Ballet Technique, Pointe, Modern, Yoga.

Week 2:   July 20–24
Classes will include: Classical Ballet Technique, Pointe/Variations, Improv/Choreography, Stretch & Recovery, Dance History, and Dance Instruction.

Location: EMCC
